Malaria Partners International (Malaria Partners International) is pleased to share that our important advocacy work and project execution towards the eradication of malaria has been given a boost by a capacity – building investment by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, to support staffing and scale-up, especially in endemic countries. The grant award will allow Malaria Partners International to support more large-scale Rotary-funded malaria projects such as those already underway in Uganda and Zambia through the generous commitments and contributions of large numbers of clubs in the U.S. and Africa. This investment and strategic partnership reflects our shared belief in the power and importance of civil society infrastructure in African countries to address malaria elimination.

“Rotary members can make a big difference in the quest to eradicate malaria. That’s evident from your extraordinary work to end polio. The same dedication and leadership are needed to win the malaria fight.” – Dr. Philip Welkhoff, Director, Malaria, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
