By Linda Cheever, Ambassador, Malaria Partners International

On behalf of Malaria Partners International and our team of passionate and dedicated Rotarians fighting malaria across the globe, we wish to send our deepest sympathy at the unfathomable loss of our outstanding colleague Robinah Lubwama Lutaaya.  Robinah was one of the founding members of Rotarian Malaria Partners Uganda in 2019, serving as a Director and Treasurer. In addition to handling the finances of a new organization and helping guide its strategic plan, Robinah was most recently helping  guide Ugandan Rotary clubs in developing well-framed proposals for small grants to fight malaria in a host of environments.

Robinah’s leadership is well known to Ugandan Rotarians. She was Past President of the Rotary Club of Bukoto in 2015/2016 year, and Assistant Governor for Rotary Zone 14 in 2018/2019.

We will greatly miss Robinah’s significant contributions to the work of Rotarian Malaria Partners Uganda.  At the same time we trust her dedication to the mission to eliminate malaria in Uganda will now be carried forward by her many colleagues and friends.

To all of Robinah’s family, Rotary colleagues, and friends we offer our heartfelt sympathy at the loss of this wonderful lady.
