The Sierra Leone Rotary Malaria Committee conducted a Malaria Prevention Educational Awareness Sensitization for the community of Gbendembu, Goderich-  West of Freetown Sierra Leone.  This community educational awareness program on malaria prevention is part of the activities planned by the Sierra Leone Malaria Committee, using the $6,000 Small Grant funding by Malaria Partners International.

Below are photos of the Sierra Leone Rotary Malaria Committee conducting Malaria Prevention Educational Awareness Sensitization for the community of Gbendembu, Goderich in West of Freetown Sierra Leone which took place on Saturday 25th March 2023. This community educational awareness program of malaria prevention is part of the malaria prevention activities  planned by the SIerra Leone Malaria Committee using the $6000 grant money sent by MPI. 

The video below that shows members of the Rotary Sierra Leone Malaria Community teaching the community members that showed up for this malaria educational awareness program, about malaria , it’s preventions and the members of the community were encouraged to adopt positive malaria prevention behaviors and to make good use of the bed nets and malaria prophylaxis medications available especially for pregnant women and children under 5 years old.
