Interested in Forming a Malaria Committee in your Country?

Rotary International encourages country-level subject matter committees to take action locally.  MPI works with Rotary committees that focus on malaria elimination and community health approaches.

Committees are being developed in several sub-Saharan countries, and MPI welcomes the addition of new committees. If you are interested in forming a Country Committee focused on malaria and/or community health, MPI may be able to offer operational grants to kick start the work. Committees work within their communities, and with national malaria elimination programs, to fight malaria. This work may include activities such as advocacy for prevention & control; support to community health workers; sensitization and awareness campaigns and networking within Rotary and country stakeholders to increase funding and focus on malaria elimination.

These committees are meant to unite and energize Rotarians, turning global goals into meaningful action on the ground. By bringing districts and clubs together, these committees strengthen partnerships, inspire advocacy, boost education efforts, mobilize fundraising, and help implement impactful programs.
